A grid of big buttons for the tasks you actually do — bathing, transfers, meal prep, meds, laundry, errands. Tap a task to start its timer. Tap a different task and the first one closes, the new one opens, in one motion. No clock-out screen. No menus to dig through.
At the start and end of each visit, CareTime EVV asks for one location fix — proof you were where you said you'd be (the EVV part). Once at the start. Once at the end. Never anywhere in between. Your phone doesn't track you, and neither do we.
When the pay period closes, the Export tab makes a timesheet PDF — date, start, stop, total, tasks completed, your signature, the participant's signature. Email it, AirDrop it, print it and fax it, hand-deliver it. Whatever your billing provider takes.
Replacing your phone? Sign into your Apple ID or Google account on the new one and restore from your encrypted device backup — your CareTime history comes back with the rest of your apps. We don't have a server. There's nothing to log in to.
If you handle private information about a person's care, the last thing you need is one more app collecting it. CareTime EVV doesn't.
Electronic Visit Verification is a federal requirement (the 21st Century Cures Act) for most Medicaid-funded home and community-based services. The rule says: when a paid caregiver provides a visit, the system has to log when the visit started, when it ended, where it happened, what service was performed, who provided it, and who received it.
Your billing provider almost certainly tracks this already, through whatever app or paper system they ask you to use. CareTime EVV doesn't replace that. It gives you your own complete record, in your own pocket, in a timesheet you can actually read.
