Cannery Row is the main works, the largest facility on the route, and the reason the phrase Made on Jupiter appears on tins across the arm. Two cannery lines, the pate works, and the gravy reduction plant run around the clock on fishmeal from Europa, grain from Mars and Titan, and plate from the mills next door.

The Row eats raw commodities at a rate that frightens first year accountants and produces standard ration, shift-meal pate, and reduction gravy at a rate that reassures them. When the Row's input stocks run low the whole network feels it, which is why half the freight postings in the system either start here or end here.

The broadcast studio on Deck 2 tapes the company variety hour in front of a live audience. Attendance is voluntary and the seats are always full. Charter pilots get comp tickets with any delivery over forty units. This is stated policy and beloved.
