The Slagworks is the hardest posting on the network and the crews are proud of it the way lighthouse keepers used to be. Io does not want a mine on it. The extraction rigs work between eruptions on a moon that reinvents its own surface monthly, and the ore they pull is the cheapest and most stubborn tin in the system.

There are no cellars here, no arbors, no presentation tins. There is ore, there is the canteen, and there is the wall where the crew pins postcards from every station their output eventually reached, which is all of them.

For pilots the Slagworks is a pure origin run: fly in with ration and biscuit stock, fly out heavy. The dock fee is low because the company is honest about what it is asking. Watch the radiation plan, mind the departure windows, and the Slagworks will fill your hold every time.
