The Press Works sits in the oldest industrial zone on Luna, where the regolith is packed hard by a century of gantry treads. Grain and tinplate come in; Grade-2 biscuit substrate comes out, stamped, scored, and cellar dry. If you have ever eaten a company biscuit, it was pressed here or pressed on a machine that was calibrated against one that was.

Tranquility also proofs every label in the catalog, which makes it the closest thing the company has to a ministry of truth. The type shop's standing instruction is engraved over the door: say what is in the tin. The tin has never needed more than that.

For haulers it is a reliable biscuit run and a steady drain on gravy and ration stock. Luna legs are short, the windows are frequent, and the dock crews are famous for turning a freighter around inside two ticks.
